We design nature-based mobile apps that can be freely used by people of all ages and occupations.

iTrees is India’s first mobile app dedicated to helping people identify and understand urban trees around them. Designed for students, educators, nature enthusiasts, and curious citizens, the app makes everyday surroundings come alive with knowledge.
Users can identify commonly found trees, learn about their ecological importance, local names, and cultural relevance, and log observations that contribute to urban biodiversity documentation. By encouraging mindful observation and citizen participation, iTrees bridges the gap between people and the green life that quietly sustains our cities.
Developed by Ladybird Environmental Consulting and powered by iNaturewatch Foundation, iTrees is now available free on both Android and iOS.

iButterflies invites users into the vibrant world of urban butterflies… delicate, diverse, and deeply significant indicators of ecological health. The app helps users identify butterfly species found in cities and surrounding landscapes while learning about their host plants, habitats, and life cycles.
Through easy sighting logs, users actively contribute to citizen science efforts and long-term biodiversity monitoring. The app is designed to spark curiosity across age groups, making butterfly watching both educational and joyful.
Developed by Ladybird Environmental Consulting and powered by iNaturewatch Foundation, iButterflies is free to download on Android and iOS, opening up nature learning to everyone.

This was part of a set of three mobile apps that were primarily developed for schools and citizen scientists. It includes 50 common species found in urban areas. Anyone can identify their local birds with the help of this app. This app will soon be available on iOS.
