3 September: Tree Plantation at Neknampur lake, Hyderabad.

3rd September 2022: Tree plantation at Neknampur lake, Manikonda, Hyderabad.

The activity was held for a half day, and 124 employees from Amazon joined us and helped plant 200 tree saplings from 10 different species. In addition, the participants also constructed tree guards to protect these young trees.

17 May: Mangrove cleanup at Chimbai Beach

A clean-up drive was conducted in the mangroves of Chimbai Beach, Bandra. The mangroves are frequently neglected, with waste entangled in the vegetation. In two hours, 14 volunteers from DBS bank, led by our team member Chanikya, collected 52 kilograms of non-biodegradable waste. The waste was disposed and given to municipal authorities.

7 May: Cleanup Drive at Chimbai Beach for Goodera

We implemented an employee engagement program for Goodera in which Ernst and Young's employees participated. In a span of two hours, 86 employee volunteers collected 470kgs of garbage and non-biodegradable waste (plastics, glass, etc.)

22nd April: Earth Day Cleanup Drive at Chimbai Beach

We also conducted a beach cleanup at Chimbai Beach, Bandra for Goodera as part of the Earth Day celebrations. DBS Bank employees who participate in the employee volunteering programme joined us. There were a total of 26 volunteers present. A marine walk was conducted during which the volunteers were briefed on the marine life at Chimbai beach, followed by a beach cleanup during which the volunteers collected trash from the beach and surrounding mangroves.

2 April: Marine Walk at Chimbai Beach

At Chimbai Beach in Bandra, we held a marine walk and a clean-up exercise. Morgan Stanly had 54 corporate employees participate in this event. The volunteers worked tirelessly to clean up the beach while also learning about the local marine life.

15th January: DIY Dog Bed Making

We conducted this online session to celebrate Animal Welfare Fortnight. Check out our live video on Facebook. It is celebrated every year from January 14 to January 30 to create awareness in the civic society to treat all animal life with respect, kindness and compassion.
