Plantation for Butterflies

Establishing Butterfly Gardens: Enhance Biodiversity in Small Spaces

Setting up a butterfly garden is an effective way to attract and support butterflies in smaller areas. Requiring just 300 sq. ft., these gardens can accommodate 150-300 plants, including both nectar and host plants. We also provide plant signage to aid in plant identification. Butterfly gardens offer significant educational value, making them ideal for schools and colleges. Under CSR initiatives, we offer these gardens free of charge, with corporate employees volunteering to help set them up. Ladybird Environmental Consulting manages the garden site for 1-3 years to ensure its success. This initiative supports SDG 15 (Life on Land) by promoting local biodiversity and environmental education.

Creating Butterfly Habitats: Transforming Spaces into Sanctuaries

A butterfly habitat is a wild space designed to support the well-being of butterfly species. Through our tree plantation initiatives, we create these vital habitats by transforming barren land into thriving sanctuaries for butterflies. These efforts are part of our CSR projects, where corporate employees volunteer to plant over 1,000 saplings on ½-acre plots of land. We also install plant signages and conduct butterfly awareness programs for local communities to enhance educational value.

Ladybird Environmental Consulting manages these habitats for 1-3 years to ensure their success, supporting SDG 15 (Life on Land). This initiative not only fosters environmental stewardship but also engages and educates people, providing a holistic approach to conservation.

Butterfly Parks: Curated Sanctuaries for Enhanced Biodiversity

Butterfly parks are meticulously designed theme parks that thrive in settings like zoos or national parks. Beyond the basics of butterfly habitats, these parks feature landscaping, exhibits, and diorama installations to create immersive experiences. While traditional butterfly parks are often enclosed, we advocate for open-air butterfly parks, which can include a butterfly observatory structure for enhanced viewing.

A butterfly park requires a minimum space of 2 acres and the planting of at least 5,000 saplings to support a diverse butterfly population. This initiative aligns with **SDG 15 (Life on Land)** by creating vibrant ecosystems that promote biodiversity and environmental education. Ladybird Environmental Consulting can guide you through the establishment and management of these parks, ensuring they provide lasting benefits to both wildlife and visitors.
