Palghar Workshop -1
We conducted a three-day teachers' training program in Palghar from November 9-11, 2022, for 28 teachers and master trainers. The training focused on teaching environmental subjects to students in grades 7-9 using the "Nature is my Canvas" guide by Dr. V. Shubhalaxmi and Ms. Priti Choghale, developed by Rotary Club Mumbai. The workshop covered various teaching methods, including nature trails, PowerPoint presentations, brainstorming sessions, quizzes, and group poster presentations. It was led by Dr. Shubhalaxmi, Ms. Priti Choghale, Mr. Kaustubh Bhagat, and Ms. Bharati Desai.
Palghar Workshop -2
On January 7-8, 2024, a follow-up two-day workshop was held in Palghar for 25 teachers and master trainers who will be teaching environmental subjects to students in grades 7-9 using the "Nature is my Canvas" guide, developed by Rotary Club Mumbai and authored by Dr. V. Shubhalaxmi and Ms. Priti Choghale. The workshop, conducted by Dr. Shubhalaxmi, Mr. Kaustubh Bhagat, and Ms. Meenakshi Paul, trained teachers on various teaching methods such as nature trails, PowerPoint presentations, brainstorming sessions, quizzes, and group poster presentations to effectively cover the topics in the guide.
